Platform

A complete toolkit
for reality capture

Upload imagery, process, analyse and share — all in one platform. No local installations, no file shuffling.

Orthophotos

Seamless, georeferenced orthomosaics. Measure distances, areas and volumes directly on the map.

DSM & DTM

Elevation models with hypsometric tinting, contour lines and slope analysis.

3D models

Textured mesh and 3D tiles. Measure, section, draw and annotate directly in the browser.

Classified point clouds

ML-based classification of ground, vegetation, buildings and power lines. Export to LAS/LAZ, OBJ or GeoTIFF.

GCP processing

The GCP workflow in the browser.

Import GCP coordinates in any CRS, place markers in the imagery and let Orthosite handle the rest. Per-point RMSE report and full transparency about what's actually used.

  • Coordinate systems by EPSG code, height systems such as RH 2000
  • Auto-placement suggests nearby images
  • Clear distinction between used and ignored GCPs
3D & point cloud

Measure reality directly in your browser

Distances, areas, volumes, height differences, sections, lasso classification and cropping. All in a web viewer that runs on any modern machine.

  • Volume calculation against DTM or your own reference plane
  • Classify points with a polygon lasso
  • Export to LAS/LAZ, OBJ, GeoTIFF
Share

Hand it off without sending folders

Send a link to clients, contractors, or office staff. They open the project in the browser, navigate the orthomosaic, DSM, point cloud, and 3D model — and download the deliverables they need in standard formats. You pick exactly which flights and layers each link exposes.

01

Anonymous link or per-user access

02

Granular: share a single layer, a whole flight, or the entire project

03

Recipients view in the browser and download GeoTIFF (ortho/DSM/DTM), LAS/LAZ (point cloud), OBJ (3D mesh), DXF, KML, GeoJSON, SHP, CSV, LandXML, plus PDF reports

Workflow

Four steps from SD card
to delivery.

01
Upload

Drag and drop drone imagery. EXIF/XMP is read automatically.

02
Mark GCPs

Place control points in the imagery. Orthosite suggests the nearest images.

03
Process

ODM runs photogrammetry on our own processing computer in Sweden. DSM, DTM, ortho, mesh and point cloud.

04
Analyse & share

Measure, export and share a link with the client or a colleague.

Real results

What you ship
with Orthosite.

Three concrete deliverables from a single flight — without leaving the browser and without separate desktop software.

Volume report
Material flow in minutes, not hours.
  • Polygon vs DTM or a custom reference plane
  • Cut/fill/net + average and max height
  • PDF report straight from the viewer

Industries

Built for people who measure
reality.

Construction & infrastructure

Volume report vs DTM or a reference plane. Timeline per flight. LandXML export straight into Civil 3D.

Mining & quarry

Weekly volume calculations with PDF report. Classified point cloud for slope analysis. Shareable link to the site manager.

Surveying & real estate

RH2000 + SWEREF99 converted automatically. CompoundCRS embedded in LAZ for Topocad and Virtual Surveyor. Accuracy measured against your check points.

Agriculture

DSM + DTM from a single flight. Ground-height profiles along drainage lines. Full-resolution orthophoto for field planning.

Forestry

Point-cloud classification: ground, low/medium/high vegetation, buildings. Export classified LAS for standard forestry workflows.

Transport

Cross-sections along roads and railways. GCP flow with RH2000 + SWEREF99 embedded. DXF export for corridor projects and bridge surveys.

Pricing

Simple pricing.
No lock-in.

Processing is metered in image credits: 1 credit = 1 image up to 24 MP, larger images count proportionally. Sharing (view & edit links) is included on every plan.

COMPARISON

Where Orthosite
actually fits.

Enterprise platforms are priced for teams with a procurement budget. Free tools hand you the raw engine and nothing else. Orthosite is the middle ground: the same GCP-to-deliverable workflow, priced for a solo pilot or a small team.

Orthosite

From €23/mo
  • Browser-based GCP editor with an accuracy report on every job
  • Open exports — GeoTIFF, LAZ, OBJ, DXF, LandXML, machine-control surfaces
  • Hosted end-to-end in the EU, no multi-year contract
  • Bring images from any drone or flight app — nothing to integrate
Enterprise platforms
DroneDeploy, Pix4D, Propeller Aero
$300–$10,000+/mo
  • Automated flight planning built in
  • SSO, account managers, dedicated ground-control hardware
  • Built for teams with a procurement process
  • Desktop and cloud often sold as separate licenses
Free / DIY
WebODM, self-hosted OpenDroneMap
Free (+ your own GPU), or ~$29+/mo hosted
  • Same open-source photogrammetry engine under the hood
  • No GCP editor, accuracy report, or sharing links
  • You build and host the workflow yourself
  • Best when you have spare DevOps time

Orthosite runs on the same OpenDroneMap core as WebODM — the difference is everything built around it: the GCP workflow, TIN/surface editing, machine-control export, and a link you can hand a client without them creating an account.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Always. Your imagery and processed outputs belong to you. Stored encrypted in the EU, never sold or used for training. Export everything to standard formats (GeoTIFF, LAZ, OBJ, DXF, LandXML) anytime — and if you cancel the subscription you can download everything within a 30-day window afterwards.

Yes. Commercial use is included in every plan. You do not have to attribute Orthosite in client deliveries. The licence covers delivery, further processing and archiving.

With an RTK drone on a fixed solution and no GCPs the result is usually a few centimetres in plan and from a few centimetres to a couple of decimetres in height. Without GCPs or check points the height can carry a systematic offset. With RTK, surveyed GCPs and a 1–2 cm ground sample distance the best case is about 1–2 cm in plan and 2–5 cm in height. The accuracy your flight actually achieved is measured against independent check points and reported as RMSE with the number of points.

Yes. You set the coordinate system by EPSG code, for example SWEREF 99 TM and its zones, RT 90 or a UTM zone. Height systems such as RH 2000 are handled separately with a geoid conversion.

Import: CSV/TXT, KML, GeoJSON, DXF, LandXML, Topocad .geo, Geo-Plus .pxy, Emlid Reach export. Export: GeoTIFF (ortho/DSM/DTM), LAS/LAZ (point cloud), OBJ (3D model), DXF, KML, GeoJSON, Shapefile, LandXML.

Personal takes up to 500 images per flight, Pro 1,000, Business 2,500 and Enterprise 5,000 - currently capped at what the processing engine handles (1,200 images). Images upload directly to EU storage in the background and processing runs on our own processing computer in Sweden.

Every project can be shared via a link — no login required for the recipient. The link shows a web viewer with orthophoto, 3D model or point cloud depending on what you chose to expose.
